Types of Servers:
- File server: is a computer attached to a network that provides a location for shared disk access. E.g. if in an office different laptops has to share files, these files are saved on a third computer to which all laptops can access.
- Data base server (Postgres, Maria Db, MYSql): It refers to the back-end system of a data base application using client/server architecture. The back database server performs tasks such as data analysis, storage, data manipulation, archiving.
- Mail server: De Anima Technology can provide in house or on cloud mail server. Mail servers send and receive email using standard email protocols. For example, the SMTP protocol sends messages and handles outgoing mail requests. The IMAP and POP3 protocols receive messages and are used to process incoming mail.
- Web server: Web server refers to server software, or hardware dedicated to running said software, that can serve contents to the Worl Wide Web or Local Area Network. A web server processes incoming network requests over the HTTP protocol (and several other related protocols).
